David is Heading Back to Ukraine

David and the Missions Everywhere team are heading back to Ukraine this week for 10 days.

Just a few months ago, the team was in Ukraine serving at summer camps and ministering to children and teenagers.

This trip has a different focus. This time, David and his team are going to minister specifically to widows who have lost their husbands and sons in the war.

These women are carrying an incredible burden. They have lost loved ones, and now they face the uncertainty of another difficult winter in the middle of an ongoing war.

During this trip, David and his team will hold services to encourage and minister to these widows. They will bring much-needed supplies, spend time with these families, and help make sure funds are available to purchase wood so these women can heat their homes through the harsh winter months.

And as the war continues to escalate, it is difficult to know what additional hardships these families may face in the months ahead.

But Missions Everywhere is not only going to minister to the widows. David and his team will also spend time encouraging the pastors and local leaders who continue to serve these families day after day. These pastors are often on the front lines of caring for people who are hurting, grieving, and facing tremendous uncertainty.

This is what Missions Everywhere is about — going where there is a need, bringing practical help, and most importantly, bringing hope.
